Yes. I went to a doctor for swelling in my ankles and feet. He gave me shots on the top of my feet to draw out the fluid. He also referred me to a neurologist. The shots completely messed up the nerves in the feet, and the neurologist messed up the nerves in the rest of my body. Everytime I see a tazer, I flinch. The pain was so bad, I wished I could die. It must be like what being electrocuted must feel like. It's been over a year now, and I still feel the effects those two quacks. To this day I am unable to wear closed-toe shoes. But I'm one of the lucky ones; I have an excellent support system at home with my parents and sister. Having faith in myself pulled me through it, as well as the faith that everyone around me had. God also help me to overcome everything that was thrown at me.
My deepest and sincerest prayer is that no one - I don't care if they are white, black, or purple poka-dotted; christian, athiest, or alien- NO ONE should have to go through anything so horrible and painful. My prayers and thoughts are for all of those who I known are going through something- regardless of the level of pain or the nature of the pain (physical, mental, or emotional).

Yes, when I had malaria. Every mussel, joint and nerve ached. I was in so much pain I didn't think I could stand it.
I didn't die, the Lord obviously had other plans for me.
