No. You are responsible for tracking the estimated payments yourself. Locating your canceled checks is important, because I have had the IRS claim they'd never received 1 of the 4 payments. This has happened twice in 5 years. To prove that you paid them, the IRS wants the tracking numbers that are stamped on the back of the check. If you have the kind of checking account that only supplies you check images on their website, be sure to print these and save copies if they're not going to be easily retrievable for at least 2 years. Definitely don't use money orders to pay, because the company issuing the money order usually charges several dollars for retrieving the payment copies.

The Internal Revenue Service will not send you a statement for Estimated taxes paid. You can call the toll free number to get confirmation of payments made 1-800-829-1040.

No, they will not send you a slip of paper telling you the payments you have made. It is your responsibility to have kept a record of those payments and file correctly.
If you make a mistake and paid too much or too little because of a mistake in your calculating/reporting of estimated payments, then the IRS will very likely catch the mistake and return the overpayment or inform you by letter of any underpayment plus interest and penalty.

They will let you know of any mistake you make. If they owe you money they will tell you. They will definitely let you know if you owe them.
