At first my refund status was showing as being "processed, look for it by Feb 6". Now it is showing "We are sorry, we cannot provide any information about your refund."

Any idea what this means

Mine did the same thing on Friday. Today it is the same as originally stated. Should be rcvd by 2-6-07. Which means it will be deposited on 2-2-07 because I check the efile direct deposit schedule.

The second message probably means one of to things.
1. The IRS computer was too busy.
2. You mistyped something and they couldn't match your information.

If they already told you to expect your return on Feb 6, why are you checking again before Feb 6?

Could just be a glitch with the website. Maybe they are updating or something to that effect. Dont worry. Check back frequently and if all else fails and it says the same thing in a couple of days give them a call to find out whats going on. Honestly though, I wouldnt worry too much about it.

It just means you will get an answer next week.

Don't worry - this is still January.
