I like a Scriptural, old time religion type program. The pastor needs pastoring. It could be general Christian radio stations, shortwave, or television. The best I ever heard was Dr. Howard C. Estep of "The King is Coming." I do not like a program where the preacher thinks God is an American, Republican. A good service does not need to be a show. Jesus did not heal people for show, it was out of compassion. In fact, he often asked those healed to not discuss it. Jesus know the religious establishment would use it against him.

Hope not asking to much. But the kind of service for me would be that which is scriptural, includes the love of Jesus, but also the judgment of the Ten Commandments.

I would be grateful for any thoughts. The messenger does not have to be perfect. The disciples were flawed. A good minister encourages people to think. Jesus used parables. He did not force feed people facts. He was a great teacher. He preached loved and Jesus did not elevate himself. Jesus never begged for money. He had no propersity ministry. His message was, "First ye seek the Kingdom of God."

Besides Howard C. Estep I greatly enjoyed Herbert W. Armstrong. Any suggestions appreciated. What do readers think of Jack Van Impe? How about Gerald Flurry and the Key of David?

I am all ears, folks.

Personally I would go with the Reverend Billy Graham. I have seen him in person as well as his son Franklin and have enjoyed them both. When both of them were here in '98 for five nights I attended every night. Also Franklin comes to my church every year and have always enjoyed listening to him speak. When he was here last year I invited a co-worker to attend with me and he enjoyed him as well and now he watches the Reverend Billy Graham every Saturday night or when he is on.

Reverend Billy Graham, and his son Franklin are the two best as far as I am concerned.

They are more concerned with the Word of God than the carnal desires of the flesh, which can't be said about a lot of other preachers these days.

You can tell that two have been called by God to preach His Message and that they are concerned more with the state of men's and women's souls than the State of the Union and that their sermons are based on the Scriptures.

Jack Van Impe is good. I like to watch Jesse Duplantis, besides being funny, he has some real home truths. Another really good one is Jentezen Franklin out of Gainesville, Georgia (the Kingdom Connection).

I enjoy watching Benny Hinn. Many people get healed at his crusades. God did miracles so that the people would believe in Him, and He says that we will do the same things and even greater things. In Mark 16:17-18, He says - These signs will follow those who believe...In my name, they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. It is wonderful to see the millions of people who come to know Jesus and Lord and Savior through Benny's ministry!

Surely there is something that you can do which would be a better use of your time. A simple walk around the block, to enjoy the trees and squirrels, would be more edifying, as well as beneficial exercise.
