That's right Gizelle. Why is it that a black or a native-american cannot be a "Bishop?"

You're right Grannygrunt28391. It's easy to covince people who have very little and do not know any better. They've gotten half of my family already.

Well they claim that and that is why blacks can only go so far in their church. They are big on missionary work, not sure why since most of the converts are not Caucasian. As far as Central America is concerned it's easy to convince those that have nothing.......

My mother devoted her life to studying the Mormon religion.......Right after her salvation with Christ. She had a book that tells of the Mormons leaving Palmyra with the clothes on their backs a few essentials. When they arrived in the place now called Utah 1 year later they had 10,000 head of cattle. Huumm!

Joseph Smith did make some conditional prophecies. although, even as a concern isn't met, the prophecy received't come authentic. There are similar examples of this interior the Bible. those that you're claiming "did not come authentic" were only conditional prophecies. study them somewhat more desirable and it is totally sparkling. He did prophecy his own lack of life. He did prophecy that his church of 6 individuals ought to "fill the earth" and bypass to "each and every usa". He did prophecy that the saints ought to set up the Utah barren area He did prophecy of the civil conflict. He prophesied that the guy operating adverse to Abraham Lincoln (can't save in ideas his call) ought to lose the presidential election (even regardless of the actuality that he became the prominent on the time). extremely DNA data is inconclusive. We only recognize too little about the DNA of the Jaredites, the DNA of different inhabitants, the DNA of the Mulekites, and the DNA of the Nephites and Lamanites. Haplogroup X is a Semitic DNA marker that shows up in about 3% of community people and historic Hebrew writings that pre-date the spanish were discovered interior the Americas. i locate it thrilling that folk like your self thoroughly ignore with reference to the 1000's of issues that grant helping evidences to the e book of Mormon and Joseph Smith's claims. each and every time you're shown incorrect, you fake that it under no circumstances handed off and modify the concern. Why is that?

I am LDS or "Mormon". Have been since I was 15. Have read the BOM or Book Of Mormon several times over...still am actually. I have NEVER seen a verse in it anywhere stating that whites are superior to any race. Maybe you can fill me in on this? Because as a returned LDS missionary myself I KNOW the LDS church does not teach this. How did you come to this conclusion? Especially since people of ALL races are welcomed by us?

I do not believe that is in the Book of Mormon. I think you are referring to a book that they do not consider doctrine. I will find what it is called and post it here.

Edit:

I think I have found the name, it is called Journal of Discourses. I might remind you, that at the time period that many of the articles of this book were written that the majority of Christian denominations were racist as well.

Thankfully the majority of Americans have moved passed our arrogance when it comes to race.

The Book of Mormon does not say that whites are superior to any other race. It does say that all races should treat each other with tolerance, patience, and charity.

MIght not be in the book but that's how they treat 'em. Blacks arent allowed to be pastors or whatever they are called...

A black friend of mine went to a house of another black woman, there was a mormon when he arrived...the mormon asked him to join them and said to ask if he has questions...my friend did asked: Is it true that you do not allow blacks to have position in your church? The mormon did not answer and hurriedly said goodbye to the woman...
