No, I'm fairly sure that it's not parvo.
It may be an intestinal blockage. You said your husband is taking her to the E.R. clinic, best thing is to have her abdomen x-raided. A heavy infestation of hooks/whips worms could also be the cause, same goes for rat poisining, antifreeze poisining........it's really hard to tell since you're not giving any details, like in how old she is, if she's spay or not, on heartworm prevention, and if she's losing weight or not, also what her temperature is.........I can only guess..

Glad she is on the way to the Vet. Hope it is not Parvo but it could be something like Pancreatitis too. My dog had that and had to be on IV's or have fluids injected under her skin around the clock. If it is pancreatitis they can't eat or drink by mouth or it will keep making them sick, but they need to be hydrated and get antibiotics and anti-nausea medication as well. Then when they are better, usually after a day or two, they get Pedialyte in water, according to Vet, maybe no food yet for a day or two and then very bland diet.
After my dog got over her pancreatitis I had to avoid all rawhides and greenies, things she could swallow chunks of or that are bacteria laden like rawhides are.
She is also on a strict diet- Nature's Recipe Venison and Rice and occasional Pumpkin Pie filling, hard biscuit treats and Nylabones for chewing needs. I have to watch what she eats very carefully. Hope your dog will be fine.
Mine got better pretty quick and has been well since her last attack, about two years ago. (She had two bouts of Pancreatitis before I found the right diet and eliminated treats that were bad for her from her diet)

it definately could be parvo again. It is less common for adult vaccinated dogs to get parvo, but definitely possible. She also may have ate something. Maybe not shrimp, but an object that is causing a blockage in her intestines. But the only thing that matters now is that she is at the vet office getting medical attention. I'm sorry that this happened to your dog, it sounds serious, i hope they figure out what is wrong, and i hope she is okay.

I don't know how to help you but I hope everything is okay.Look up rectal bleeding there are several sites for this,on the web.It could be a blockage/tumor/broken blood capillaries after she has strained to go to the loo.The mucus could indicate an infection of some sort, there has been a strange dog/cat bug around just lately, hopefully thats all it may be.All of my animals had it.One dog and 5 cats.

if it is not parvo then it coulb be a bowl obstruction, you need x rays of her GI Tract. tell your vet to do a barium series on her and if she has any kind of blockage in her intestines then it will show up on the x-rays. she needs to be at a vet and hooked up on IV.
i can't believe they would send her home if she was vomiting and having diarrhea that bad. take her to a different vet it sounds like you took her to someone that wouldn't know their *** from a hole in the ground.
this is very serious and can be fatal

It sounds like parvo. If the test comes back negative then it could be foreign body or poisoning. Good luck

don't know what is going on, did you give her rawhide? try taking a picture of the barf and giving it to the vet to look at, or scoop up some of the poop and put it into a bag for the vet to look at. Maybe it was somthing she ate. hope she feels better.

It does sound like Parvo, and from what I understand they can catch it more than once. Good luck.

First check to see if she is alright. Then if she's panting something is really wrong with her.Take her to the vet.Ask the vet as many questions as possible. If he/she says she has something unusal let them figure it out.
