get a wreath and decorate it according to the seasons - flowers in the spring and summer, fruit in the fall, etc...

Get a sign made that has your family name on it or something of that nature. We have one and it makes me proud to present my name at the front of a home that I am proud of.....Or just try a wreath, I'm not to good at changing with the seasons, so I just have one that goes with the decor of the home!! It looks fab. Dark purple door and a green and light purple wreath, I get a lot of comments. Hope this helps

Paint it red.
Our townhomes are grey and stone fronts, and our doors are painted brick red - very nice.
