He told my mom to pray for CIndy Crawford by name, my mom didn't even know who Cindy was. He's told me to pray for Nicole Kidman (just got a reminder on that, she was in a wreck today), an actress I've had zero interest in and I've only seen 2 of her movies. He also has me praying for heaing and reconciliation in Srebrenica. I had an idea of what happened there, but I never thought to pray for the survivors until he told me to. How about you?

Well, I dont get random thoughts for celebrities, but I do get them for friends and family. All of a sudden, I will feel in my heart that I need to pray for them. I also send up little prayers for people that I dont know if I see an accident, or see on the news that someone got shot... and so on.

A couple years ago, my husband and I were driving home late at night, about 3am, and my husband got the urge to pull over and pray for his best friend. So he did. We pulled over to the side of the freeway and did a quick prayer.
The next morning we found out the friend had been sideswiped by a big rig and the car was totalled. It happened at 3:15am. His friend walked away without a scratch.

Thats the power of prayer!

I don't watch movies anymore so I can't say that I've had the Spirit put a burden on me in that direction but I was convicted to stop watching T.V. so I like don't turn it on. (therefore their names don't hardly come to my mind). I suppose if someone else had something without any nudity or profanity or glorification of sins I might enjoy watching it but those things are too old fashioned and decent for a majority of the movie makers and actors of today I guess. I'm sure it doesn't hurt to include all of America and the world in our prayers. Everyone needs the grace and mercy of God. I do pray for our leaders. If you have a burden to pray for anyone then you should do so.
