The big deal is that you are killing a baby for the sake of your own "convenience". If that child was born then it would be considered murder. Abortion is murder.

Look online at a photo of an aborted baby and then ask, "What's the big deal anyway?" I think you'll SEE the big deal when you see the little bodies lying in blood. Even at 10 weeks you see little arms and hands and feet.

When you look a tthe pictures only one word comes to mind (and it sure isn't "choice")...it's MURDER.

There's never a good reason to end an innocent life. Period.

And by the way, it's not the woman's body that gets dismember and put in the disposal, incinerator ot garbage can. It's a seperate body that gets destroyed...most of the time for the sake of convenience. That's weak.

Like most of the members here some individuals cant have children and there are careless people out there destroying lives. My thing is the only people that should have an abortion in any case is if its life threatening or rape of any kind or age. Plus if the individual is having an abortion for the heck of it they will have to answer to god. So once again someone will be holding up the line trying to get into heaven.

Well its'pretty much killing a living thing isn't it. Some say a baby is there from conception and if you have a baby you are killing it. One of the commandments is 'Thou shall not kill' and if your killing the embryo inside fo you then it can be classed as murder.
It depends on the circumstances though. If you got pregnant by mistake like you wern't careful enough then you would have no right to kill this baby. If your life or the babys life is at risk or in danger then sometimes abortion is the best thing. If the mother was raped, abortion could be the best thing.
But if you think about it, how many couples are there out there going though IVF because they can't have babies and they desperatly want one and then your just killing one off when you could have the baby and give it away to someone who really wants the baby.

Oh and when I say 'you' I dont mean you personally, I just mean a woman in general so dont get me wrong I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm just explaining the question you raised. WHATS THE BIG DEAL WITH ABORTION????!!!!!!! oh my gosh. you know what, i had an abortion once. i was still in high school, and got pregnant. Had an abortion. not only is the after effects horrible, but the actually process is too. your living baby is inside you and you are killing it. now i have 2 kids of my own and there isnt a day that goes by that i dont think about it. was it a boy or a girl? what would it look like? my life would totally be different now, but i regret it everyday of my life. if you are thinking about it, talk to someone. you may be freaking out because of your family, but trust me, talk to them....they will help you.

But anyone who posts needs to remember opinions are like assholes everyone has one some of them release with no sound or smell, and some of them stink and are loud and obnoxious! My personal opinion is simply this! I am a mother of 2 children whom i love very much! The fact that a woman and man can have unprotected sex KNOWING the possibility of getting pregnant they still risk it! As easy as it is to get an abortion in that aspect its bullshit! Get on BIRTH CONTROL USE A CONDOM! Your right an embryo is not considered a human life until a certain gestational age! BUT why punish an innocent would be child? Doesn't anyone have a fracking heart anymore? There are tons of people who cant conceive a child as quickly as some of you people flush them away like there nothing! In some cases tho its different like for instance incest! If your biological father rapes you and you are pregnant! I believe that is your choice if you want to abort that baby IF it is under 3 months! If you are dumb enough to wait until 4 months or longer then that is a "Human being" there for it should have rights! I have heard so many woman say i accidentally got pregnant and i would love the baby but i love my body so i will abort it! That is just messed up! Can't comment on how much of a crime it is without knowing where you live. But it is a very big deal. Women who have one never get over it. They may be swept along into it, and it may even be the right thing at the time, but they never get over the horror and guilt of it. At least none of the women I've even known who've talked about it. It is, after all, killing your own child, however politically correct it is to say that - our conscious knows it.

I'll bet you believe you have the right to live. Would you fight for that right? Now, who is going to fight for the right of the baby who gets butchered for convenience? That's the problem. Imagine how you would feel if your rights were taken away for convenience. Our country cannot continue if we abort our future. I think we should push adoption a little more.
