I asked a question, and refered to Jesus as saying he came to turn mother against daughter and daughter against mother. This is truly false. I did not intentionally try to lie, I simply did not have the facts sorted out correctly before I posted it. The correct statement that is true is that in the end times mother will be turned against daughter and daughter against father and you know the rest, I am a witness to this being a true fact from the bible and grateful that the spirit of God comforts me in the place of my mom. Once again I am truly sorry for the mistake.

The passage below means these things in term of reletive regard. I other words, when my wife became a Christian, her father stopped speaking to her. Jesus meant, that if my wife stopped following him to please her dad, she would not be worthy of him. So in essence, your first posting was correct in that Atheistic Father may be turned against Christin Daughter for Jesus sake.

34"(AZ)Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

35"For I came to (BA)SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW;

36and (BB)A MAN'S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.

37"(BC)He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

38"And (BD)he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

39"(BE)He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.
