my dentist is out of town until monday and i need a toothache remedy--anbesol isnt working..can anyone help me out with suggestions before i head to tha drugstore? tyvm

Ora-Gel makes these little cotton swabs that have an analgesic inside them- you break off the end and you can rub the end of the q-tip directly where the pain is- I cracked a tooth one time and that was only thing that helped- it didn't stop the pain all together the only way to do that would have been to yank the tooth out and I didn't even consider that idea and neither should you- good luck

Don't head out to the drugstore. Head out to the liquor store. Rinse and gargle with whiskey. You can also wet a cotton ball with it and wipe down the tooth.

Vodka works too.

Heat up a metal spoon till it glows red and then press it against your arm and then bust the puss bubble and peel off the skin....then just push on the exposed flesh!....that'll take your mind off the tooth pain and give you a "new" pain to focus on.

Go to your drugstore ask there advice they will give you some think that will help until you can get to see the dentist

i sure do know...ive had a cracked one before....enteric aspirin the strongest ones you can find...Ecotrin or the store equivalent
