You can get imodium from a 24hr pharmacy and some supermarkets sell it I think or you could go to an a&e. Eating an apple might help as the pectin (the stuff that sets jam) will make you stools firmer. If you have food poisoning or a viral infection though, it is much better to let it 'run it's course' so to speak. I currently have campylobacter so I feel your pain.

Wait until you can see a doctor. Until then, drink plenty of water, do not drink any sports drinks or sodas. Water will prevent dehydration and help replace any lost electralites. There are also medicines for that, but the key thing is to drink water.

use a electrolyte replacement fluid like pedialite to avoid dehydration .Eat applesauce pears bannas and jello. avoid milk products for a couple of days as the diarrhea improves add bland foods such as rice toast potatoes and cereal in small amounts.

eat gravy powder, will not stop it but thicken it a little. Just kidding best to let it run it's course as it is how the body gets rid off things it doesn't like.

Make jello but instead of chilling it drink the liquid.....it's supposed to help, but I've never tried it. What's the worst that could happen....??...you could let loose with a few jigglers?

Don't do any of that stuff. Eat rice or beans, plain white rice, and chicken broth, I have family that swear by it.
