How many computers can I install Windows Vista? Because I have 4 in my home.

so I have to buy 4 copies of the same program? That it absolutly rediculous are you sure?

I believe each copy of Microsoft software allows 5 users in the home, but you can purchase a site license to use on more if need be. Each time it is installed, it registers your IP address with microsoft and once it reaches the limit you won't be able to legally register any more or install it any more without first removing it or making it inactive on another machine.

You can only install one copy of Windows Vista per computer (You might be able to use the same DVD but different product keys, however).

Maybe you should ask Microsoft, but you should be able to install it in all of those 4 plus a couple more.

you can only install it on one. you can buy a liscense for the rest but it is the same price as the first one so it is a waste. just as cheap to buy for all of the computers. send me an email and i will explain how you can put it on all your systems legally!!
