I have a 300 inline 6. The truck is a 1979 Ford F-150. I want headers but here's the issue... My truck is a 4 wheel drive. Headers for a 4 wheel drive are way more expensive-$400
2 Wheel drive are only $150. I would much rather get the $150 headers. Does all this matter in terms of 2 and 4 wheel drive? My truck has a 6 inch lift if that would help any.....

Get the headers for the 4X4. They are designed to clear the front drive line. Save a little money and cost yourself a lot of headaches. Good luck.

Any headers will fit depending on the front drive line clearance if the lift helps with clearance yes they will!
