Can't think of a better reason to split up with someone. If you don't love someone anymore then surely it is time to say goodbye. I would rather someone said that [ however hurtful] than make obvious pathetic excuses. Decent excuse????Think about it!

A decent excuse? Such as, "I've been sleeping with your brother and you just aren't as good in bed as he is"? What's decent, exactly?
When a person falls out of love with you, you're better off knowing rather than ending up in a resentful relationship in which the thought of you touching her disgusts her.

I dont know, that sentence makes a whole lot of sense to me. If those flames have cooled and they've realized they dont feel the same for you, they're doing you a favor by telling you and breaking things off rather than cheating or staying in the relationship unhappy and driving you nuts.

because they are hiding the fact that they have either just dated someone else while with you proving the fact they never really loved you like you loved her or she is an even bigger slag and has been two timing you for a while
and to put it bluntly they are cowards
its better to tell the truth rather than crappy one liners to paper over the cracks
and before the women go mental I dont use 1 liners myself because they are just dumb

You would rather a well thought excuse than the truth? I mean it doesn't get much more clear cut than "I don't love you anymore". what would you rather she said something like.."Um...a gypsy woman read my fortune and told me that if I didn't break up with you you were going to get run over by a car on one of out future dates...so ...um...in order to save your life I am breaking up with you. Your welcome." Would that be more acceptable?

mayb cause guys use the
"I love you, but not as much as my ex g/f" line.
or even the "I dont feel any spark even know I am totally attracted to you" line.
or the "I simply dont feel the same way I did earlier on" line.
I wish people wouldnt make relationships they cant keep and hurt others for selfish reasons.

Not loving someone is a pretty good reason for breaking up with them. It's not a "line" if it's the truth.

I guess what you want to know is what happened to make her stop loving you? Ask her, but she may not be able to tell you though. There may be other circumstances clouding her judgement. other things she needs to resolve that don't include you at the moment. Maybe it's temporary, but that's rare, but not impossible. Hope it works out for the best. I feel your pain

what better excuse could you use then "i don't love you anymore"? it's straight to the point. unless you would rather hear "i don't want to be with you because you have a weird disease growing on your d*ck and it's interfering with my life"... i mean really.
