Listen to you mother. Shes the one who will have to buy the food, take it to the vet, pay for the vet, and clean the litter box.

Well don't get mad because that could only make matters worse. My parents used to hate it when i would ask over and over and over...then they'd either get mad or say yes. Try asking your mom..WHY does she not want you to have a kitten. You don't say how old you are, maybe that's the reason? I had to wait until I moved out to get a kitten because my parents thought it was too big of a responsibility. C'mon...So even when I did get a new kitten after I didn't live there anymore, my mom still tried to tell me I shouldn't have gotten it because its too much for me to handle...sheesh! Parents!

that was me lol! well even tho i was the eldest i wasnt dat responsible i lost my cell i lost my watch and etc. So my dad said: if u cnt look after these u definitely cnt look after a kitty!
so i told my dad to buy me the things i lost and i will keep it like a kitty. My dad soon found out i was responsible enough so he bought me a kitty.
what im saying is show ur parents how responsible you can be. If they still say no when you leave ur house u can get one.

wow, looks like me and you had something in common. Well, before we got my kitty my parents told me strictly NO!!!!! They said "she will claw the furniture het fleas and crap every where" Well, my piano teachers kitty had kittens and he asked if we wanted one. so fo course i said yes, but i had to ask my parents, while he was on the phone i asked my mom and guess what? she said no, well, i got on her nerves so bad she said i dont care do what ever you want!!! then i said ok to my piano teacher and like he said I'll bring her over today while piano lessons.
I hung up and went and told my dad that we are getting a kitten. And guess what he said. he said NOOOO! AND I SAID YEESSS!! well, the kitty came and we had her since thanksgiving and well, my parents LOVE her. my mom and dad spoil her!! my mom buys her all kinds of toys and stuff. But, like now they want her to have kittens.
But, I'm not suggesting you try that, because not all kittens come all cute and cuddly, some are very mean. but we have a beautiful, kissable, and hugable kitty.
Good luck with getting through your parents!!=)

keep in mind that kittens like all pets require a lot of responsibility, food, water, litterbox every day, not to mention taking them to the vet every so often. on top of this, these things cost money. these are things to consider

Sorry hun - her house her rules. When you are out on your own, you can get litters if you want. Sorry, you are sooooo mad, but just get over it -- you can't always get what you want simply 'because you want it'.
