If we aren't talking about masturbation, I'll be a little embarrased, but here it goes...
I'd be willing to bet that a great majority of men, women, and teenagers do it, and in less someone catches you in the act or you tell, no one will know you are doing it. Doing it will not cause any lasting physical problems. Most people will not experience a headache, however, since your breathing will change and you may have instances where you are holding your breath, and doing it may also cause you blood pressure to rise a bit, you may experience a slight headache that will go away when you are done. There is no lasting damage, in fact sex boosts the immune system.
Assuming you are female, you should know that vibrators feel wonderful but I would not recommend using one. If you have never tried one then don't. You won't miss it. Long time use of a vibrator can cause desensitization and your clitoris will require more and more stimulus to acheive orgasm. Also, steer clear of porn for much the same reason. Your imagination is an awesome tool to use for this.
Don't worry about anyone finding out. Plan ahead of time what your answer will be when someone asks why you're smiling!

If you mean masturbation, each and every one of us has done it at one time or another. And all the horse crap about it causing all sorts of physical and mental health problems turn out to be just that: horse crap. In forty years as a certified and licensed health care provider, I have yet to meet, or to encounter a colleague who has met, a single patient who's suffered any untoward effects as a result of his or her masturbation - with one exception: a fundamentalist minister who, upon discovering his twelve-year-old son doing it in the hayloft, attacked the child with a fence post and killed him. The fundy was arrested, but released without charge by the equally fundamentalist prosecutor. The people of the township were so outraged that they lynched the minister! The prosecutor resigned two days later and left the state, and a month later, fled the country.
Yes, even at my age (and all I'll say about that is that I'm a senior citizen) I do the solitary thing once in awhile. No disrespect to my wife; she has Parkinson's and simply can't enjoy conjugal relations much anymore. I love her with all my heart, and I won't demand of her that which hurts her.
Just remember - what you do in the privacy of your own bedroom or bathroom is nobody else's business. Just be sure to get intimate with soap and water before you get intimate otherwise...
