The kingdoms are as follows:
Babylon
Medo-Persia
Greece
Rome

Then the fifth kingdom that would be set us by God and would never be destroyed is the church. Notice this kingdom was to be set up in the days of the forth kingdom. The church began during the reign of the Roman empire. These other kingdoms shall be destroyed, but the kingdom God set up shall last forever.

Jesus told some that they would not die until they had seen the kingdom of God. Notice Luke 9:27, "But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God."

Before the church had its beginning in Acts 2, the kingdom of God was always spoken of in future tense. After Acts 2, it is always spoken of in present tense. The words "kingdom" and "church" are also often used interchangeably.
