Get married whenever you feel is best for you and your finace'. I am getting married May 26, 2007. The weekend after you. Our date is syndamental though. We moved in together on May 26, 2001 and closed on our 1st house together on that date so that date is a valued date. So we went with that. Some people go with a important date and some go with birthdays and holidays while some stick with I want to be free with I want it to be just be and my new husband or wife celebrating ou new marriage. I know for me I like it being on our important date because it is the day we started our new beginning and we are just reafirming our commentment to one another. However in that six years for us we have had a little boy so we know that is what is best for us.
Once you find your date stick to it. Do not let anyone tell you other wise. I know May 20 is just 4 months away. You better get a working because you have alot of work to do from now until then do not get stressed over the date because if you are getting stressed over the date just think about the work that is needed in the planning over the ceromony. Have you even started that? How long have you two been enagaged?

Well, around here, that's the weekend that most of the high schools and colleges are having their graduation ceremonies. It may be a different date in your area, but here that's the weekend. I can guarantee you, if your wedding is competing with graduations, you'll lose out, and people won't come to the wedding. A daughter of a good friend of ours scheduled her wedding last year on graduation weekend, and many of us who were invited couldn't, because our high school aged children were involved with graduation activities (yes, even the freshmen and sophmores were involved). The bride was so disappointed when she found out--after she had booked everything--that less than a third of the guests she had invited wouldn't be able to come due to graduation events. Her mom even told me afterwards that had they known about the conflict, they would've simply scheduled the wedding for another weekend.

april showers, bring may flowers. Sounds perfect to me. I wouldnt have it in the summer (wayyy too hot for a wedding dress), not in the winter (waayyy too cold for a wedding dress, so I say the spring or fall is perfect. Hopefully the weather will be good for picture taking too!
congratulations and best wishes =]

Sounds good to me........I would check and see the weather patterns where you live at in the last several years......to see if you had any storms or rains around that date (depending where you live)......otherwise....I say go for it. I wish you the best of luck.
