Can the USA use force to solve problems in the middle east?
Would it be better to walk away, and treate the countries as any other?
Should we treate them as friends and allies instead of enemies, regardless of their policies?

I personally see no good reason for us to be involved in the internal affairs of other sovereign nations especially those in the middle east. I know the reasons that our government gives are not the real reasons. Sadam Hussein was no threat to the United States and nether is Iran. The hunt for Bin Laden in Afghanistan is another smoke screen since he is doing quite well in Pakistan. It is all about the strategic plans for oil distribution and supply. the US is so worried about who will get the oil that industry and transportation is based on, that we are willing to expend any amount of money and manpower to develop our power base.
Even though I do honestly believe the Iraqis were suffering under a brutal dictator, and that they should be liberated, I don't believe that this should have been the basis for an invasion and the subsequent occupation. Now we are in a morass and we just want to throw more money at the fire. There are basic differences between East and West and we cannot bridge these overnight.

Yes and no. Yes if we are there to go after Bin Laden and those responsible for 9/11. No for oil and Bush's revenge against Saddam Hussain. There were no WMD's in Iraq and Bush knew it.

this is a shame isn't it? The mightiest military interior the international scuffling with Taliban gangs, who're growing to be better on a daily basis! This makes one ask your self, are the media comments on the numbers of killed Taliban combatants ideal, or they are purely murdered civilians, who look precisely like Taliban combatants? on the different hand, why is the West attempting to unfold its very own democracy to different international locations by ability of wars, isn't this what they accuse Islam of, whilst they are announcing that Islam became unfold by ability of sword? organic hypocrisy, isn't it?
