I have try to transfer them to dvd but i can not get them to reopen what's wrong

we need more info . . .what type of files and what do you mean . . .if you are copying regular data files to a DVD i don't believe they will work . . ther issomething unique about a DVD disk that makes them only usable for movie format like files.

If you are trying to burn a movie file (avi, ram, etc.) don't burn it as a file, use a program like NERO or some other specific DVD burning software so it formats it properly.

It like the way mp3 files work . . .you can burn mp3 on a disk as either a data disk or an audio disk. AS an audo disk, you get less songs per disk but it wil play in ANY cd player . .. as a data disk you get a lot more songs on the disk but they will only play on your pc or on a cd player that SPECIFICALLY states it plays mp3.
