Are they ok to use on a 2 month old cat and how should I use it? (how offten?)

I did take my cat to the vet, she gave me a pill but the cat does not do well with it so she only gets like half of it ate. So my friend said when her cat had ring worm the vet gave her the wipes and since hers is better she no longer needs the wipes and gave them to me.

Ok, sometimes I don't think you people read what I'm saying, instead of just trying to get your 2 points.

I know what ring worm is and I know I need to keep her in a room all alone and I took her to the vet and yes the vet said she has ring worm and yes she gave me meds for my cat and yes I give them to my cat....

Now back to my question plz.....I just want to hear from someone who has used them before and if they work good and how offten I shoudl apply it. I've already put it in her once and she is fine...(well except she still has the ringworm but I know it does not work that fast)

If you cat has ringworm bring it to a vet...my vet gave me malaseb to wipe around my dogs eyes to keep them clean...I don't think they will do a lot for ringworm.

Did the vet dx you cat with ringworm? You don't want to treat a young kitten if you are not sure.

the wipes are to be used 2-3 times a day. Allow the area to dry completely by distracting the kitten so she doesn't lick any medication off. Wash your hands thoroughly, as this is a zoonotic disease and you can catch it.

Call the vet, get the kitten in for it's routine vaccinations, exam and be sure the kitten has ringworm prior to treating.

Good luck.

Pilling a cat is actually very easy once you learn how. Wrap the kitten in a towel (kitty burrito style) so that the head only is exposed. Tilt the kittens head back with one hand and use your thumb and ring finger to open the kittens mouth by placing those fingers directly behind the canines. The kitten should automatically open her mouth. Pop the pill in the back of the throat with your free hand, gently close the mouth and give a small puff of air in the nose or stroke the throat. You will know she swallowed the pill when the tongue darts out.

These have miconazole in them which is what is prescribed for ringworm. You can double check with your vet to see if he believes they would work, but since ringworm is contagious, I'd find the quickest way to get rid of it. Plus, if you have more than one cat, they should all be treated.

2 month old kitten? I would ask a vet first. Many medications are not approved for kittens and can adverse affects that would not otherwise harm a full grown cat.

You really need to contact a vet for this kind of information. I really would hate to hear that someone gave you bad advice and the kitten got sick. Just call your vet and ask him. They will tell you excatly what you need to know.
