it's normal to happen sometimes, but your gums should toughen up and stop bleeding fairly soon. If they don't then something is probably wrong.

try not brushing so hard, use a toothbrush with soft bristle and brush in small circular strokes. If it's not that try flossing everyday. Are you a smoker or a drinker? These are variables that could be causing the bleeding. If it's not that go to your dentist. You could possibly have gum disease. also make sure you go get your cleaning every six months. If you don't do that there is no amount of brushing and flossing that will help with the bleeding. Cleanings get the plaque or tartar or calculus you can't get. you really need someone to look at your teeth to tell you what the problem truly is.

It is normal for it to bleed sometimes, but not all the time. You could be brushing too hard. Try lighting up and switching to a soft full brush. There are different styles of brushes. It generally says it at the top, soft, medium, etc. It could also be lack of flossing. Make sure you floss consistently. After you do this and if you still bleed, go see your dentist because you may have gingivitis.

Your teeth should not be bleeding. First I would make sure that you are using a soft tooth brush. Second, if you do not brush your teeth on a regular basis, they may bleed as well, so this may be why.

If neither of these apply, it may be a deeper problem such as gum disease, so speak with your Dentist at your next checkup. You should be seeing him every six months for a cleaning!!

You could have a beginning of Periodontal decease. do you floss? how many times a day do you brush? what is your brush, you suppose to use soft toothbrush. have your dentist or hygienist say anything about your gums bleeding...
If your bleeding just started, think back, did you start a new diet or changed a medication.. all of that might contribute to the change in your mouth.
But bleeding is not normal, that's the answer.

It's due to something being wrong with your gums, ranging from them just being sensitive(you need a softer brush and you need to brush more gently) to them being diseased(go to a dentist). It is most likely due to you not brushing often enough and your gums are too sensitive from lack of stimulation. Through middle school, I brushed almost never and when I did they would usually bleed. They would also bleed when I ate an apple.

i suggest 2 things to do to stop the bleeding. 1, use a softer tooth brush, 2, brush ur teeth with table salt. u have what is called pryrear of the gums. the salt will tighten up ur gumes and they should stop bleeding in just a few days. then after using salt to brush ur teeth, use ur regular tooth paste. also keep using the salt to brush with. god bless

It means that you haven't brushed your gums like you should. So keep brushing your gums and it should bleed each time you brush your teeth for a while.

You are either brushing too hard or you have gingavitus(sp?). Try getting some strong mouthwash and brush your teeth a little lighter. Call a dentist if problem persists.

You should try flossing a bit, then rinsing until the bleeding stops, then brush again. After that make sure to floss daily.

you are probably brushing your gums too hard (or you have gum disease...) get a soft bristle toothbrush and sensodyne toothpaste. Use that for a few weeks and don't push on your gums when you brush...just brush the teeth.
