I have settled a couple of accounts and they still appear as unsettled or delinquent. I want to change this. Can any one help?

You need to contact the places were the accounts were held. The credit bureaus only list what is sent to them.

Go to www.annualcreditreport.com and get copies of all 3 reports. That will give you access to the dispute phone numbers for each credit reporting agency, and you can call and dispute the charges.

But, work the issue from both ends - go to the creditor that is still showing unsettled. Also, get you proof in order (cancelled checks, receipts, any correspondnce). Everyone will want to see it.
