~Buy a food additive - such as Deter or Forbid - or dry kibble that makes poop unappetizing to dogs, and add it to your dog's food if he's into eating his own. These products contain a chemical that is made bitter tasting during the digestive process.

~Take your dog out on a leash. Jerk the leash when he heads toward poop, and reward him when he doesn't approach it. Use this method until your dog learns not to approach poop.

Look for either Deter or Forbid at your local pet shop. They're both additives that you can add to the puppy food. It makes the stool distasteful to the pup. Also pick up after the puppy as soon as possible.

Tell your dog no. You have to tell it your the boss ,and hes not. Don't feel bad, I have a little black cute adorable pug who always eats POOP. So watch where the poop is and don't let him eat it.
