I disagree about epilators being painful, they are not very painfull, the area you are epilating quickly heats up and becomes kind of numb just from the epilating motion, and also you get used to it after a few goes anyway. HOWEVER, I have tried epilating large places on my body and I ended up with prickly hair and little rasied bumps, so if you are the type to get ingrown hairs really easily, I would not recommend you epilate. I think you should go for either laser hair removal (btw, it is not permanant, it is semi-permanant), or go to a salan and get your body waxed. Make sure you take care of your skin afterwards though and regularly exfoliate to prevent any ingrowns. Definately don't try shaving your body and DEFINATLEY don't try hair removal cream, the stuff for your legs is too strong for the skin on the rest of your body and the stuff for your face was not intended for large areas, you could end up with burns if you use a hair removal cream/mousse on areas it was not intended for.

If you have dark hair and light skin, you're a perfect candidate for laser hair removal, which is permanent and won't lead to prickly growth.

It's expensive up front, but if you consider the cost of shaving or waxing, neither of which are permanent, it's worth it.

if you can stand pain get an epilator - they are like an electric shaver that pluck out your hairs from the root. you only have to pay once and you can keep using it for years.

you can numb the area you're doing with an ice pack first if it helps.

because the hair is plucked out it damages the roots so after a few weeks they grow back finer. if you keep doing it, it gets less painful and the hairs don't grow as much x

(this takes me to 1000 points!!)

Honestly..laser is the best thing i think in this day and age. Wax is good but you have to go back and forth all the time waiting for it to grow... can be annoying!Laser is costly BUT think of it this way next year this time you won't even have to worry about it because all the hair will be gone!

Get to a beauty salon and have it waxed or sugared off. If you've got some spare cash and can tolerate a bit of pain you could have hair laser treatment done and they'll never grow back again.

Waxing or either a lazer hair removal which is much more expensive.

Don't use an epilator, it is too painful to use on large areas and I can only use mine on my armpits where it tells me not to use it. It is the only area small enough to stand using for long enough to remove all the hair.
