fill your medium size pot with water, at list 3/4 of the way. Bring to a boil. while it is boiling, add your pasta. Cook for atleast 3 minutes. Test one out. how does it tast to you, hard and chewy? if so give one more minute. Strain your pasta ( i don't like rinsing my pasta, takes away the seasoning, and the starch is good to thicken up your sauce).

Mix the items you need to for the cheese sauce. In your pan, put it on medium low heat. Add your sauce and in the cold pot and put the pot over the stove, heat it up with no boil to allow everything to combine. Add your pasta, and stir. Take off the fire and serve. :)

Set the stove on high heat. Add noodles when water begins to boil. Watch it carefully to make sure that the water does not boil over. Let boil for about eight minutes. Reach a spoon in and taste one noodle to see of it is soft enough. Once the noodles are soft enough, turn off the stove, drain noodles in a strainer, then put them back into the pot. Add the butter, cheese, and milk to the hot noodles in the pot. Mix them until the butter is melted, there are no lumps, and cheese is evenly distributed.

Check expiration dates, if everythin seems okay an you seriously cannot cook them, I suggest taking your product back to the store (not kidding, they'll usually take it back and notify the company) plus write your own letter to Kraft as well. You're right, Mac and cheese should be idiot proof

If you can't read/understand the directions on the box, you need supervision to turn on the stove.
