The simple answer is no. While you menstrate pretty much anything you insert is going to be a bloody mess as you put it. If you are concerned about getting it on you, than I would suggest a dildo. You can purchase one online from an adult store or a vibrator/massager that you can get from Longs, savon or rite aid. They come in little ones that you can strap onto your finger.

Ok.. as woman we all know our hormones are raging!!! Its hard to not be horny! But if you are and he is ok with the fact that you have a visitor... then go for it... dark towel is correct. I gotta tell you, having sex during your period is very unhealthy for you and your partner. Your period is actually your uterus wall shedding, within that shedding is bacteria, that can make you suseptible to infection.
Honey, if your man actually likes you and wants to be with you he will wait and also understand that having sex on your period will give both of you problems.

Just lay on a towel and clean up with a wet washcloth afterwards. Once everything is mixed together it washes out fairly easily anyhow.

Ask your doc about an diaphram. They fit over the cervix and keep the mess up there for quite a while. Its also a relatively good birth control method.

You can use a condom and just put a folded bath towel under you will you're having sex. There's really nothing more that you can do.
