ok on the day before thanksgiving my sister was killed in a car accident on her way to work she left behind two kids the oldest child is 5 yyrs and the other 3yrs do you think it was ok for them not to go to there mother funeral and how to tell them there mother is dead they know but they dont understand the father is incarerated and basically they dont have know parents

They should have been allowed to attend her funeral of course. They are young and they will bounce back, it will be like the old saying, you can't miss what you never had. They will long for a mother in their life, but be sure as they grow and mature to keep her memory alive, with stories and pictures of her and of her with them. Try to never let them feel alone always tell them how much she loved them and she is watching over them until they are together again one day.

yes it is okay. never force a child to something they don't want
to do. do the best you can when explaining and good luck...
