I bought a DVD rewinder from a guy in a Best Buy parking lot, he said he won it as a prize, but since he already had one, he offered to sell it to me for half what its worth, only 50$!!! What a deal!
Its pretty neat, you just put it in and it's supposed to rewind your dvds and cds automatically, and it looks just like a regular cd case.
There is just one problem, it doesn't work, and since I don't have a receipt, I can't return it to the store. Where can I take it to get it serviced, and how much do you think it will cost me? I'm not even sure what brand it is.
Maybe its solar powered, and I need to go outside to make it work.

There is a good shop, but it is far away. It is on Uranus.

DVD or CD rewinder? Are you sure you do not mean a VHS rewinder? Neither DVDs nor CDs need rewinding. When a disc is removed from a player and then used in the player again, it starts right up from the beginning. Any forwarding or reversal of the disc may be done by yourself with the player's controls.

It appears to me that you may have been hoodwinked. Never purchase any item from a stranger in a parking lot, even though that stranger may have set up shop in a parking lot of a large business.

You're joking, right. That is pretty funny.

One night a friend of mine and I were watching a movie on DVD. He was about half asleep. The movie finished and I told him to rewind it so we could take it back to the rental place. He tried. When he realized what he was doing, we both had a good laugh.

It could also be that DVDs and CDs don't require rewinding and anyone who purchases "a DVD rewinder" for 50 bucks is as gullible as those that purchased pet rocks in the 1970s.

Excellent! Only $50! I know how handy it is to always have your DVD's rewound, too! I highly recommend you check out the product in the attached link. I'm thinking you're exactly the customer that Sony had in mind with this one!
