I've been looking around and I can't seem to find a cheap basic router. I have a simple project at home where I want to make a decorative border. I can find cheap drills and most other power equipment but every router I find is over $100. Where should I look? Thank you.

If there are any pawn shops near you, give them a try. Sometimes they have reasonably priced tools. Used of course but serviceable.

CRAIGSLIST.ORG Those are local people, getting rid of stuff for cheap on there. www.craigslist.org. Select a numerous bunch of localities and search each. You can then have that US Mail to you for about $4
