When you get married, you take eachother in SICKNESS and in HEALTH, because they are opposites, right? So if we refer to stores that sell good, wholesome foods as HEALTH food stores, doesnt that make a regular grocery store a SICK food store? Considering they sell things loaded with artificial ingredients, chemicals and dyes, I think so........your thoughts?

I will add my own story--2 Years ago I was bedbound, crippled and in hand braces. After giving up wheat, soy, eggs, artificial colors and flavors and processed foods, I recovered completely from several major illnesses including arthritis and lupus. I have cheated 5 times in 2 years and all 5 times the symptoms came back., Proof enough for me that a poor diet causes illness.

Thats a good thought, I never looked at it that way.
But, Sickness and health and black and white opposites. A 'sick' food store also has organic and healthy food, so I wouldn't go as far as to call it the 'sick' food store.

I believe that to a point, especially with children and the certain dyes that are in food, that can cause hyperactivity or just plain cranky moods, however claiming that you Lupus was cured by a special diet is hard to believe, my friend has lupus and although she has been in remission several times, you can't be in remission unless you have had a relapse. Lupus is like cancer, there is no "CURE" but I do believe that a proper diet has kept you healthier than if you still ate crappy foods. If a doctor told you you have been "cured" of your Lupus, either you never had it or you are in remission... which means that the disease is dormant, not actively eating up your immune system

Please define artificial... I think most of those foods will do you no harm when used in moderation. Few if any of those chemicals dyes and preservatives have ever shown a poor effect on a person.
