I know thousands die every year waiting for a kidney, so I am really trying to improve my chances of finding a kidney donor. My wife would donate hers to me, but we aren't compatible.

I've seen people put up signs at work, as well as other public places. Good luck. I hope you find a donor soon! Also, you could make a website for yourself stating your need, blood type etc.

My brother got his from his wife. When was the last time you checked for compatibility? They've made huge advances. Are there any other family members willing? Be sure you find a doctor that can do your surgery laporoskapy style too and your recovery for both you and the donor will be SO much better.

Good luck to you.
