Personally, I go for Jagermeister for the hard alcohol. I like the flavor. Slightly like licorice and it doesnt seem to have that "burn" like vodka.
If you don't want something quite as hard, go with sake if you can find it. Yes, Japanese rice wine. I (and anyone else I find that tried it) find it has a pleasantly eathr mushroom taste. It goes down smooth as water with no burn but a powerful aftertaste. It IS considered a wine still, but it's more potent than any other wine I have tried.

My personal fav is Biccardi Dark Rum, it's a smooth sweet rum (not like the harsh taste of white rum) in shots with a cola or rootbeer chaser

My current favorite liquors come from 276 Infusion. They have Vodka, Tequila and rum and infuse it with things like vodka and cranberry, tequila and chilli peppers, and rum with mango. The rum and vodka mix wonderfully with juice, and they even have a great lemon infused vodka for Lemondrops, and vodka with onions and olives for a great dirty martini. You can even sip the liquor by itself and it tastes great. Plus, the bottle is really beautiful.

My favorite bottle is Parrot Bay Cocunut Rum. You have to experiment to find out what you like it mixed with, but it's great! I like it with orange juice or Coke, but everybody's different. It's also good on the rocks, if you like your drinks that way.

Rain is organic vodka. I personally like a good bottle of wine, it keeps you from getting ridiculous and it doesn't give you a hangover if it is good quality. I like Avalon, it is a Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cherry Fizz, I'm not sure who makes it but it's one of the bottled drinks. It goes down like soda pop.
