1)Life is full of misery, suffering and pain. I suffered a lot myself, but still see my suffering incomparable to the suffering of many people in the world.
So what is the purpose of life according to your religion? And what did Christianity or Islam do to improve the lives of people?
2)Don't you think that life is unfair to many people. For example, there are so many people in the world whose income is 1 or 2 dollars a day! Why wicked and sinful people like Paris Hilton, Angelina Jolie, and Donald Trump are very rich, while so many
true christians and true muslims live in misery?
I have been under severe stress for the last 3.5 years because of studies, and exams. Also, the girl that I loved left me to another (maybe richer) guy. Why do I have to work very hard to succeed while Paris Hilton was already born rich? Is this fair? Why God gives some people everything and deprive others from everything?
Why some people have to suffer while others enjoy their lives?

I do not really understand your point, there is suffering in the world yes, and no one's God, to my knowledge which is extensive, ever promised that there would not be suffering in this world.

Blaming famous people's wealth on God is just as mislead.

Bottom line is, your attitude towards life is effecting your life negatively. Perhaps some spiritual work would help you. MG

As a Muslim I believe the purpose of life is to worship ALLAH. Islam helps neighbors, orphans, children take care of their parents when the parents are old, we take care of the poor.

2) That's a good question. It's not fair that they're so many poor people suffering in this world when they're rich people not doing anything with their money. They should do something useful and help the poor people instead of buying tons of clothes and other stupid things that they don't need like planes and jet skies.

It doesn't seem fair that other people are born rich and the rest have to work for the rest of their lives. It makes me wonder what it'd be like if these rich people just lost all their money and were forced to behave like non rich people. I wonder what they'd do then? No it's not fair but I believe God will reward you for your actions. I think rich people only care about being rich. It's sad but that's a fact of life.

Life is not about what you gain from it. Your purpose is to worship the one true creator. If you work hard then you will reap your reward just not as soon as you expect maybe. it requires patience... sure it may seen very unfair to you now but it really isnt. Paris Hilton may be born rich but what does she have? shes shallow, doesnt know the meaning of life. Life is not about materialism.. what defines fair is not a matter of money. Money is nothing..Your Lord knows whats fair and whats not. How can you think to understand His vast creation. Suffering is a test.. and its a good thing in a way because the more you suffer the more God will have mercy on you. and if you truly believe then *everything is good for you.. meaning that what may seem like a bad thing will actually be a good thing for you.. you will learn etc.. you will benefit from it. true musilms live in misery because if God knows that you are a true believer.. He will push you further... test you more.. because eternally.. He loves you.. not that you have done anything to deserve it.. just like if you are wealthy.. you havent done anything to deserve it. it is by God's mercy that you have what you have. fine you may have suffered. but have you not got two hands? two ears? a nose? your health? you hav so much to be thankful for and money is really nothing. it isnt. oh a final note. is God not ominscient? He knows all.. from the vast reaches of mankind to the tiniest space between atoms. all. and if you believed that than you would know that whatever he decided. it is fair. thank yuo. hope that helped. peace.

Every person on this earth has been dealt a handful of cards and it is our duty to play the hand to the best of our ability. Each day something new pops up and we must do the best with whatever comes our way. God did not promise us a Rose Garden and some of us have to endure more then others. We just don' know, how other play the cards they have been given. But I do know that God wants for us to live every day, as if it is our last. So un-fortunately, it sounds like you have had some rough days. When you feel your down in a deep dark valley, just think of God and look up. Look for the light and go to the light. Your life will get better and the baggage you carry will someday turn to a blessing that you were able to carry the baggage and endure. It will get better and don't spend time thinking of others baggage. Just take care of your own and if it gets too heavy , give it to God. He will help you carry it.

You are placing to much value on material things and assuming that they are enjoying their lives.

That is a big misconception and mistake.

Many times the very rich end up in worse shape than us normal average people. To much time and money can lead to misery and death. Look at all of the actors and wealthy that have died due to drugs and even suicide. They must not be very happy if they kill themselves.

Then look at Mother Theresa, and Pope John Paul II neither were rich in material wealth, but both were happy.

It is sad when people suffer and starve, you are in College, even with the work that brings, you are one of the most fortunate people on earth. It is your responsibility to help others in need as it is mine. Do not hoard money thinking it will make you happy. It never will. Be generous!

You might pick up a copy of the New Testament, I did and became Catholic last year.

Peace and God Bless You!

There's so much misery in the world, why shouldn't you, as a religious person, share in it? How else will you grow in understanding?
You don't kow what Paris Hilton, etc will suffer in the future. Or what they have suffered.
When I read your question I see a guy who is lucky enough to have an education and attractive enough to attract a girl. Is this a true reflection?
Make sure you work hard so your children will have more.

Look Big_Bang>>> I wish I had some mystical story to tell you or some secret to tell but the truth is that ... this is life sweetheart.... get used to it. Stop wallowing in your own pitty and take the time to help people who are worse off than you and you'll realize that life isn't that bad afterall & it could always be worse. I'm sick and tired.... sick and tired... sick and tired of people blaming God or other gods for this. It's our nature to be evil so mankind, in general, is just reaping that which we've sowed thousands of years ago. yes, life is unfair. Yes, life gives us hardships that are sometimes too big to bear but deal with it and MANNNN UP honey. Also, if school stresses are all you've got...... come talk to me about stories and suffereings. By the way you talk it sounds like money is a big thing for you and you need to check yourself there. Money isn't everything and I guarantee you that most of the people you mentioned here are more lost than you are. so.... there... deal with the truth, let it sink into your understanding of life, hold your head up high and keep on trucking......

Well, I understand your frustration. It can be very very hard to watch people who dont have to struggle financially. But I also know from having personal relationships with extreamly wealthy people that they have a LOT of issues mentally, spiritually and they have a hard time coping in life. People who are given anything dont appreciate the same way that those who work hard for their money do.

On the other hand... A true Christian should not be focusing their lives on "money", "fame", "ease of life". Our job on earth is to be an example and to live the life of a humble servant.

The joys that come with serving others, and with being the giver are far superior to getting stuff for yourself and being selfish.

I have never had more than 2000.00 in all my bank accounts combined, but I have never needed more than that because God always provides. I trust him and he always comes through.

God bless, and good luck with everything!

I am a Christian. When you become a Christian you no longer live for yourself but for Him. God blesses me daily but just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean I don't have to go through bad times as well but when I do I'm not alone He is with me. Happiness to God isn't measured by the world's standards but by His, so I may not have tons of money but I'm happy because I have the best friend in the world Jesus, who will never leave me. Plus life's not fair and what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. God loves you too, I hope you know that.
