Why do men consider some women to be hot and some to be cute?

some women to be hot of course! That's why they wanted to have sex, kiss, ect..some to be cute is like when they like some of the things you did and just want to be with you or something.

I'm not a man, but...
"Hot" generally means killer body (depending on each man's tastes), nice chest, pouty lips, that sorta thing. They generally have a quality about them that oozes sensuality.
"Cute" is girl-next-door, wide eyes, big smile, etc. Not "hot," but still pretty. They can still be sexy, but they don't scream sex when they walk in the room.
Have you ever seen the movie "Boomerang" with Eddie Murphy? Well, Robin Givens' character was considered the "hot" one, she had the long flowing hair, the model-type body, etc. Halle Berry's character was the "cute" one--she was still pretty but she wasn't a model type.
Who did Eddie Murphy choose? Hmmm
I think hot women have a harder time being taken seriously by men, and cute women have a tougher time being noticed by men in the first place. I don't think either one is better.

When a girl is cute she has a pretty face. A hot girl is sexy looking. It doesn`t matter how they look if they have a poor personality. Honesty and loyalty are must haves for a woman to be truly beautiful.

I think cute implies innocence, while hot implies naughtiness. Guys seem to want to take the cute girls home to meet Mom and the hot girls home after the bar!
I wouldn't say one is better than the other...girls who are asked out on dates but not seen as sex objects probably wish that their guys found them "hot," but girls who are constantly treated as sex objects just wish someone would be nice to them!

I think "hot" means luciously smolderingly sexy and "cute" is just that. I guess "hot" is the next level after "cute".But they're both good!

the girls that guys usually say are "hot" the the ones that make them think of sex automatically...the cute ones r the ones theyd typically like to date or more

hot can include cute, but she has to be very sexy with combination of sweet and innocent. Thats the ideal girl everybody wanted.
