I would go to your regular Dr. first and then he or she can refer you to the appropriate specialist if need be, or just give you some medication right then.

Go go stresscenter.com and take the test, I have an anxiety disorder coupled with obsessive compulsive behavior. It is treatable, but the patient has to do most of th work, medicines like Paxil, Wellbutrin, Xanex, and other can alleviate symptons while talk therapy will help you get at the root cause of the anxiety. This is the most common mental disorder in American and is personality based, it usually starts slowly and works into a more severe condition as time goes on, depending on your age.

Start with your general practitioner first to rule out any underlying medical problems. The doctor should be able to direct you from there. There are a lot of helpful web sights. Try googling depression or anxiety. Good Luck

Most of ten time anxiety is caused by a number of thing fear, stress or satanic attack. I don't know whether you are a Christian or not but your issue may stem from where you have been and, what you are doing. No Dr. can cure this but Dr. Jesus.

I'd try the psychiatrist. They are much better able to diagnose this.
