How much education of the Greek language did the translators have when they were making this bible? And if there are so many bibles already, why make another one?

All the translators of the NWT chose to remain anonymous. So you will never know how much education they had in Koine Greek, if any. Considering that almost no one knows a Greek scholar by name, it is quite peculiar that the NWT translators wanted to avoid "fame" if that is their claim.

The New World Translation is actually the Jehovah's witness Bible found by Charles Tazz Russell who didnt agree with alot of the teachings of the Bible...so what it caused him to do was to form a panel of interpreters who had not clear understanding of the Greek or Hebrew...but instead formed a Bible based on what they want to believe....

Almost NONE... The Information I have indicates that ONE person on the team had ONE class in undergraduate Greek. It is NOT a valid translation, they merely filtered existing translations (it seems to be based somewhat loosely on 1901 ASV) through their theology and wrote what came out.

... They took their ideas to scripture and wrote something to make them fit together. This is a terrible disservice to the text. Properly, we MUST go to scripture to learn what it has to teach, NOT twist it to fit what we already think,

Oh... in response to those pointing out the "anonymity" of the team, a quick Internet search will find a list of those "translators" and their backgrounds. The information was released unofficially several years ago by the watchtower organization and has since been confirmed.

Seeing as how the translators didn't want to gain fame from translating a Bible and decided to remain anonymous, all the answers on this question are PURE SPECULATION.

the reason JW's worked at making another bible is to Control their own congregation. by controlling religion you divide and conquer a people.
The use of the lords name cannot be more completely in "vain" in this translation but at the same time they call it righteousness.
i have the same complaint with Islam and arab translations of the word God. Even if a word is used in Hebrew they change it to arabic Allah. this is also false witness and also controls religion with a lie.
if jesus used the world Eloihem while on the cross when he prayed to OUR Father in heaven he used a hebrew form and not a greek or arabic form. by changing the scriptures people change the truth to their own theology, and therefore there is no abiding truth.

Some people want others to think for them, easy way. Best you study for your self and become your own translator.

It has many flaws in translating. The translators obviously had an agenda to propagate false teaching when they produced this travesty of truth.
