The first answer provides just a static photo. I would suggest if you don't have Google Earth, download and install it from http://earth.google.com/earth4.html.
Then search for Shanghai, China in there. Once there, you can zoom in/out, move around at will. If you haven't used Google Earth before, you are going to love it.
PS: You will need a broadband connection in order to work with it. Don't even begin to try it on a dial-up!

Go to Google. Type in Shanghai. Click of Satellite. Adjust zoom as needed.

The Google Earth information is very good, if you need a photograph. If an interactive map would help, try . It is, as might be expected, in Chinese, but if you know a little of the language, it is very helpful.
