You expect to go back to the Dr. and find out if medication can help or what can be done. Parkinsons has many stages and those are qualitative decisions. You need expert input. There are remission episodes, good days and bad days. If your Dr. did not give you this information go back and demand it. It is unthinkable he just gave you a number and no information. You can go to www.webmd.com and get lots of info on Parkinson's, from what I read your husbands disease has progressed a lot you need lots of information to make decisions with, if I find more I will come back on and let you know.

It appears to be the l;ate stages. It is a degenerative disease and it spells progressive rigidity of the facial muscles, the arms and legs, loss of balance, difficulty walking , swallowing and gradual loss of mentation , cognitive function, as well as hallucinations from the disease and the side effects of drugs.
