Just like with any other "jobs", you find good people and bad. There are some people who will use the name of God to con money out of others. It's sad because, when people fall for the con, then find out later that it wasn't real, they have their faith waver. I couldn't name just one preacher that is corrupt because, I'm sure there are several.

Most preachers are honest but a few would take the last thing you have, Haggerty, Swaggert, Falwell, Robertson , Baker, James and others are those I would't trust in a shi*t house with a muzzle on. The most trusted preacher I have ever known is Billy Graham who has reached out to millions of people and I have never known of him begging for money at any time.

I'd argue that some well-known evangelicals - while you might not agree with their agenda - haven't shown sign of significant corruption. Billy Graham, James Dobson, Rick Warren, Chuck Colson ... I personally suspect most of the corrupt ones had good intentions when they got into that field, but their self-image got inflated, they received too much personal praise from their followers, and they no longer saw themselves in an honest light. My experience has been that the "little guy" preacher, out of the spotlight, struggling to get by, is usually an idealistic, decent person.

Teh most corrupt would be the evangelist but Trinity Broadcasting Network ( TBN) is the most corrupt of them all and has every lying hypocite preachers you can immagine on their show , not to mention their leader Paul Crouch is a pedophile homosexual who recently settles a lawsuit against a young boy who he had gay sex with. Allof TBN are nothing but shills for the terrorist state of Israel who preach lies that Jews are Gods chosen people simply so they can get wealthy for "filthy lucres sake" they lie to christians and will not telll Gods true word for fear of angering their GOD the Jews.
Jesse Jackson is one of the greatest charlitons of all time along with Al Sharpton who is a conspirator and a bonified convicted liar.
Billy Graham and Sam Kennison. are also great liars whom gained their wealth by lying to people and twist the bible in order to scam good people out of their money. They are also part of the Jewish owned scammers who will lie to christians for their Jewish masters instead of telling the biblical truth that Jews are not GODs chosen people but that Judaism is the enemy of all christiantiy and especially the true chosen of GOD whose heritage they stole. That tribe who are the real chosen came from theAnglo Saccson tribe which is the true Israel.
Remember that God said He would leave that name ISrael as a curse unto those who stole True Israels heritage and He would give the real peole of ISrael a new name. That new name began with Isacc who late became know as the Saccsons which was perverted to Saxons by the Jewish media and print in the late 1700's
Any peracher worth his salt and worthy of telling the truth could tell these truths throughout the pulpits across the land but they won't because money and of a lying cultish tie to the Jews who pervert the word of GOD TiTus 1: 13-14
May God destroy thses liars immedialtely and expose their agends and those who back them in order to control christians.May God stop them now! In Jesus name stop the liars!

L. Ron Hubbard (Founder of Scientology) once said "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wanted to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion."

any preacher who emphasizes money...or the importance of being with money...Creflo Dollar comes to mind....note
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
while Jesus who we preach even said...
And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head
(Luke 9:58)...meaning that he even being the Son of God was without...money and riches were never Jesus' message...life eternal is...(John 20:31)...But these are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God and that believing you might have life in His name...
And I might also add for those who may think I am Judging what it reads in I Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man (man meaning of mere flesh apart from the Spirit).

It's possible, I suppose, but I've also seen the opposite, pastors with an enormous amount of investment in their education, living at or near poverty level. On purpose!

Joel Osteen or whatever his name is.
He preaches "health and wealth" and all the verses he quotes he puts up on a screen so people dont go into the bible and read them themselves. They completely DO NOT MATCH the bible.
"Health and Wealth" is one of the most dangerous Christian sects/cults out there, because it teaches exactly opposite of what the bible teaches.
God never promised we would be healthy or wealthy - Look at the disciples, and whoever said that "Taking up your cross and following Jesus" was going to be easy?
