A friend of mine has a son that overdosed a week ago. The dr's now say his cerebral cortex is dead. I know that has to deal with the brain, but what exactly does that mean?

The cerebral cortex is responsible for language, memory, attention and lots of other things. Sorry to hear about him.

I critically doubt all of us "chanced on" it. that's the term for the outer layer of the techniques, the grey matter. the reason no-one "chanced on" that's because of the fact no-one, in addition, "chanced on" the coronary heart.
