I want to print a short phraze in arabic or greek on my foot.... I want some good one-liners like 'God will judge me' or ' I shall yeild to nothing'. Something meaninful that wont grow stale. Something to live by if u know wat i mean. I really need ideas. Pls tell me in english and ill translate myself. Thanks :)

To the first answerer, I have 13 tats, 5 of which are visible while wearing a t-shirt. I make over 100 grand a year, so you can cancel that myth. I hate to sound like I am bragging, but having a tattoo does not make you trashy. I think calling someone that you don't even know trashy is , well, trashy. Ya dig?

HMMM, well if this was back in the 60's or 70's it would be something like "Onward Thru the Fog", but now that just doesn't apply. I have a Blessed Be with Celtic knots on my foot. Almost Celt/Tribal. What I would do, is look up stuff that means alot to you, after all, you are gonna wear it for a long time, and you are the one that has gotta like. And if you pick it, it will mean lots more to you than if a stranger does. I have a friend who just got Tempus Fugit (I think that is how you spell it) with the wings of Mercury around it on her foot. That means Time Flies in Latin. I think your question is a good one but because we're talking about a tattoo, something so permanent, I really think this is something you have to choose yourself. Now, I know you will choose it yourself, but what I mean is that it should be something you live everyday and something you are known for. So, if you find a really good quote, please, sit with it for a while before you get the tattoo. Let it be something that is really apart of you. We change so many times in our lives and we change our beliefs alot, too, and just make sure this is really what you could believe for the rest of your life. As, for the quotes - you can find them online, at the library, in the bible, and in many books. You could even look up something one of your heroes has said. Anyway, good luck and take care!

that's hard not knowing you. i have thought and thought about a quote or saying that will fit me and mean something til i die but i just can't so i'm going to stick with pictures and stuff. ummm, how about "beautiful life, beautiful death" or "live this day like it's your last"

Tattoos are trashy and if in plain view, most good paying companies will not hire you if the tattoo is visible. My company average salary is $60,000 and no one with a tattoo works here. Applicants with tattoos are not hired.
