Wow...someone is jaded...
Ok...I'm in a long distance relationship and we are doing amazing. When we first met, we had less than a week together before we had to go different ways. We've been together for almost a year now, still long distance and still just trying to see each other when we can. For us, we make sure to talk every single night, but if you can't really do that you can use things like email and aim. I try to send him really sweet emails as often as possible. I also try to send him little goodie boxes that I decorate and just put random things in. I once sent him 4 different kinds of cookies and he loved that. I've sent him a lot of pictures too, both on the cell phones and through email. It takes a lot of work, but trust me...it's a special kind of thing when you see each other after a long time apart ;)

You need to live it up while you are in Hawaii. Guys wil come and go. That happened to me when I had to spend the summer with family in a different State. When I got back, he was a totally different person. The good news is that life doesn't revolve around a man. You need to go out and have some fun. Don't worry so much about him, trust me he is probably having fun without you. So just live up your experience in Hawaii. If you just stay on myspace the whole time you are there you aren't going to have anything exciting to share with him when you get back.

I'm not sure what to tell you hun, I wish you two all the luck. I had to do something similar. Only I never met him in person until almost a year later, we talked every chance we got. We talked for hours no matter how tired we made ourselves for work. we also had yahoo, ICQ, and MSN, and we talked on all of them, and Furcadia(that's where we met) all at the same time. I loved every minute of it. I miss him now and wish I hadn't chose family and friends over him 3yrs ago, or we would have been together for 6 yrs...I am very much in-love with him, and I lost him, I hope you two don't lose each other. Try everything you can to hold onto one another.

Imagine this, a good relationship often last up and down around 25 years, more or less. A long distance relationship last for a certain period of time it all depends how long you can keep it up? On his part it will be how long he can keep it down? Do you know what I mean? So do your self a favor you are to young and should be living in the moment to establish a healthy long relationship, he's not here at this moment , look around see if there is anyone else noticing you, there is more than one special person in our lives you need to notice them to.

don't discuss problems or money issues, or politics, thats a turn off. remember she might be seeing someone, yet doesnt mention it. i would try to find out if she is married, some women don't tell you they have kids till they figure you're hooked.
