They do this because they haven't learned what is really important in life. Money, or wanting money becomes an addiction, like gambling or drugs. The more they have the more they want. It is endless and there is very little satisfaction to it. Perhaps a momentary satisfaction, but in the long run, no, otherwise they wouldn't keep going after it. The real satisfaction comes from being a loving person, doing things for other people, trying to make the world a better place, if even in a small way. These are things that last, not temporary fixes.

Because they haven't discovered that they have a soul as well as a body. They completely ignore the spiritual side of life, going through their lives focusing on material goods, appearances and superficial values. Their 'happiness' is superficial too in my opinion. Real happiness lies in discovering your soul and that you can connect with it and be one with it. It's realising that we are all souls encased in bodies and the , cars , expensive hols, homes etc are just camoflage, which greedy people think represent them. Greed becomes addictive, the more you get, the more you want and there's always someone to compete with. It's a never ending spiral, leading to spiritual death.

It's a cliche but "we're all different honey". And we all have our breaking point, if you are faced with overwhelming bills or have suffered poverty, you'll know that you never want to visit that space again and will do what it takes to avoid going back there again.
Though I don't think that's what you mean - In essence all our brains are wired differently just as everyone's face if different - people who care very much about things will go into nursing/social services/ peace campaigners and people who don't will become arms dealers/mercenaries/terrorists or murderers for example. There is a great deal of discussion over endorphins and enzymes that your body produces and studies in Mental hospitals and prisons show unusual levels of each in their study groups - its a very active field of research.....

Happy hunting

Best wishes

Most greedy people were brought up being spoilt by a parent, or gardian. Getting things when they want and such. This natually causes them to grow up getting what they want when they want, thus causing a need for things, i.e money.

It's human nature. Some people can be that way simply because that's how they are. I've heard said money is the root of all evil, and love of money is the root of all evil. But I honestly believe it's the LACK of money that's the root of all evil.
