Depends....if the lack of accountability towards education is just bad parenting, laziness etc, then parents need to be held accountable starting off with warnings, maybe fines, and then jail time, more likely than not, a child without an education has a negative effect towards our society/world, just adding to all the other pos's out there, !!. Sometimes though, as much as a parent tries, the kids are out of control or have learning problems, and if that's the case, it is then the parents responsibility to have child evaluated and treated or send to kiddie boot-camp.

Lack of teacher accountability is due to the school districts along with our government not backing teachers anymore and making their jobs harder, districts always caving into the parents demands...how dare you give my child a deserved c+!!! Which all stems from the battle of money between public and private schools

More importantley I would like to know what to be done to create teacher accountability.
