Because they are hypocrites. It's ok to put a dog down once it's just laying around doing nothing, but not ok to save the life of the mother if she has a lot of potential. They don't realize that a lot of the times, the mother's life is completely ruined and the child is abused because it was not wanted. They also don't have to go through all of that. They feel they are entitled to dictate to others how to live their lives, and that's wrong. Personally, I could never get an abortion, but I wouldn't stop somebody else if I knew they wouldn't be able to handle it. I did stop my sister in law, though, because she and her husband were married. Their daughter was 9 months and they thought breastfeeding was a form of birth control. But that situation is different because they were family and were asking for advice. Those who don't want the advice should be left to their own devices. I don't like it, but I don't think I'm in charge of the woman's life.

First of all we are really not anti-choice- because we CHOOSE life!! Second of all, where do you get the idea that we do not care for the baby after it is born? Is it because we cannot adopt 4,000 babies a day that are aborted? Besides this, there is more to abortion than the obvious- it is not good for the woman either- there are many physical, emotional and spiritual risks to the woman who has had abortions- I counsel at a pregnancy help clinic, and see these women all the time. I care for both the woman and her child. We need to stand up for the innocent- who is more innocent then the baby being developed in the mother's womb. "Being developed" does not mean it is not life from the moment of conception. When a baby is born it still not a fully developed adult is it? think about that- if we killed a child it would be murder even though it isnt full grown- it would be murder- even though we chose to kill it- that is the way it should be with abortion.

We are Pro life, not anti-choice.

And we DO care about the baby!!!!!

There are tons of programs through the Church to help mothers take care of the kids, and there are many good, stable couples that would Love to Adopt a Child, but cannot because there are none up for adoption.

This argument holds NO water.

Adoption is ALWAYS an option.

Just say no to death, don't punish your baby for your mistakes.

Peace!

PS. do you consider people who are against rape anti-choice because they are taking away the choice of the rapist to rape?

Why should we have a choice to kill? Murder is Murder....

Most lawmakers will not even vote to end late term Abortions, I am talking about killing babies that would be able to live on their own if they were allowed to just be born.

The baby is more than a choice. It is a human being from conception. There are many organizations that would love to care for the baby after it is born, most Christian organizations, in fact.

What do you mean? I'm pro-life and I care about the baby after it's born.

Not care? Sorry, but the life of the baby is everything: after birth, raising it. Of course we care!

Do you know this for a fact? Do you know there are absolutely no people who disagree with abortion who are foster parents or who have adopted a child?
