Obviously, it's embarassing, especiallywhen I bring girls over. I mean, he'll try to cover himself when he sees someone else in the house, but regardless it's fairly uncomfortable

Well, you can talk with your dad when you're both in a decent mood, but ultimately, it's his home and he makes the rules. If he doesn't feel the need to change it, he doesn't have to. Hopefully he will listen to your concerns and do his part to try to keep the peace in the home, but if he doesn't, you should accept it and socialize with your friends elsewhere.

Just bring it up to him before bringing someone home, consider a code word when your on the way over. Like "hey Pop's can you make sure the door's unlocked" then that way he knows your coming and he should be fully dressed. If he's embarassed about the situation its obvious he knows there is a problem, bringing it up in any manner wont hurt his feelings!

No, there is no gentle way to tell him this. Telling him, in the first place, will just make him not wear clothing even more. If you did ask him to wear some clothes, I'm pretty sure that you would be going to the store and out to eat...wherever basically...with a mostly naked father. I'm so sorry.

It is his house. And when you get old and want to run around naked in your own house you will with no bother of anyone else opinion. Why? Because its your House and you can.

I would just give him a heads up and ask him to put some clothes on when you are going to have someone over.

Tell him Dad. I feel uncomfortable when you do not have on cloths, so I would appreciate it, and I feel embarrassed when I have my friends over. Now when ever it is time to get him a gift, buy him a nice house coat.

Tell him to put some clothes on, this ain't the zoo. Seriously, he has a problem if he's naked "accidently" when your girl comes by. Tell him his behavior is unacceptable and you will stop bringing people over until he covers up.

Bring a girl over, and have her have a huge reaction and be like "OMG it's SO small!"

He will probably wear clothes next time :D

how about a straight shot of truly, just tell him how you fill, i mean he is your dad, if mom is around tell her to do something about it , but i think that he is your dad and he loves you , just tell him , i,m a dad only 32 i it would not hurt my fillings if my son came to me and said, dad i have friends coming over , could you put some close on ,
good luck buddy

talk to him about it when he's clothed and it's not an uncomfortable situation. my dad used to wander around in a robe that probably fit him in the 70s. it was not attractive. i can understand your pain ;)
