ha-ha-ha Yeah, get your laughs out now. I'm dead serious though. I was eating toast with butter and cinnamon on it, and I accidentally took a breath in while I was eating it, and apparently there wasn't any butter on that part so the cinnamon wasn't adhered well to the toast... Anyway, up my nose it went and it stings really bad. When I blow my nose cinnamon KEEPS coming out! I swear it's like there's a whole teaspoon up there or something. Should I try to flush it out with water or is it harmless? Thank you very much, and please no jokes!

So hard not to joke, sorry! I really want to...
I'd say you'll be fine, just keep rinsing with water. At least its a natural substance!

I can imagine that would sting!
You will probably begin producing more mucus, as your body's way of flushing it out. To help that process, make sure you are getting enough water in the next day or two. If you'd like, you can try a nasal wash (using saline solution and something like a neti pot or a commercially available saline spray), but I would be afraid doing so might flush the cinnamon higher up into your sinuses, which would hurt more, and take more time for your body to flush it out naturally.
Just increase your water intake and keep blowing your nose!

It won't harm you. I used to sniff pixie stix as a kid and all that ever happened was a lot of stinging and a few red or blue boogers. Just keep blowing your nose and try cleaning it out. I wouldn't suggest any sort of liquid in the nose though. If it's not done correctly you may make things worse.

Have fun!

well, you're still breathing right? No it won't hurt you, and no you don't need to flush it out unless you find it feels like it's burning, and then that is just for your own comfort. This is totally harmless to you.....the hairs in your nose are made to filter and clean, so just keep blowing it, and you'll be fine.......

Oh, and careful eating your toast tomorrow morning!!!!

I can't say I've ever been asked that question, but I would say that sounds pretty harmless. If we can eat if without harm then I guess we can probably snort a bit accidentally too! I wouldn't make a habit of it though - I can't imagine it feels very good!

It won't harm you. Just rinse your nostrils with a saline solution. This is available at all pharmacies. No presciption is needed and just follow the directions on the box. Just to make you feel better Ozzy Osbourne once snorted ants with no ill effects. LOL

Do an Ozzy Osbourne impersonation and snort some live ants. They will eat the cinnamon.

Use a nasal spray. That should take care of it. Don't spray water up there.

You're fine unless you had some cocaine to go with that cinammon. Flush it out with a little or continue to blow your nose til you fell comfortable. You'll be fine.

You should be fine once you get rid of the cinnimon that you inhaled. If you have some saline nasal spray you could use that but otherwise just relax and you should have it out of your nose soon.

You'll be fine. It may be a pain in the butt for a while but it won't cause any long term damage. I've snorted much worse.
