There a few great websites to try internet dating... though you have to really get to know a person before jumping into meeting them.
I would consider... www.myspace.com yeah its a great place to meet friend but its also a great place to meet men. Plus leaving them a message doesnt hurt.
I have used www.craigslist.org depending on your location depends on responces and stuff... posting a picture picture of yourself on there is a little sketchy consider posting a pic of your eyes, or your lips... something eye catching.
There are also a few personal sites i've found yahoo to be the funnest.... its cool to send little notes back and fourth a little expensive get in when its like buy one month get another free....
Those are my current suggestions... but there are plenty more... those are the ones ive used though.
